Mountain Rose Herbs Works to Keep Local Waterways Clean

Mountain Rose Herbs is proud to partner with the Ocean Blue Project to advance our commitment to protecting waterways from the harmful impacts of trash and microplastics. Recently, we initiated a community cleanup event with our dedicated staff along the Bertelson to Meadowlark Prairie Bike Path, a vital ecological corridor we have formally adopted for ongoing stewardship.

Recognizing that collective action drives greater environmental outcomes, we invited another local business in our industry, Yogi Tea, to collaborate with us. Through this unified effort, our teams successfully recovered approximately 100 pounds* of refuse from these wildlands. This garbage would have otherwise contributed to water pollution and threatened fragile ecological systems along its journey through our rivers,  riparian systems, and into the Pacific Ocean.

We are proud to say that this commitment extends beyond this single event. As stewards of this natural space, we are eager to continue our work alongside community partners and local organizations to ensure ongoing improvements in ecosystem health.
