An important part of our mission is to support organizations that work tirelessly to defend our wild splendor. This year, we're spreading the word by highlighting three membership-based nonprofits and hope that you'll feel inspired to join us. Plus, you could be a winner in more ways than one...
Step 1: Choose one of the non-profits that speaks to you and make a donation at the minimum membership level. The organizations to choose from during this year's annual membership drive include Oregon Wild, Beyond Toxics, and the Center for Biological Diversity.
Step 2: Once you’ve made the donation to become a member, send an email with your name and the organization you supported to shawn@mountainroseherbs.com. This will enter you into the drawing.
Step 3: We will randomly select one lucky winner to receive a $1,000 gift certificate from Mountain Rose Herbs on March 1st 2016! The announcement will be made on social media and via email to the winner.
Beyond Toxics works for all Oregonians to empower individuals and communities to find solutions that protect human and environmental health. They are a feisty and tenacious organization! Mountain Rose employees have seen them in action when we participate in volunteer workdays through the Mountain Rose River Project.
The Center for Biological Diversity works to secure a future for all species, great and small, hovering on the brink of extinction. They do so through science, law, and creative media, with a focus on protecting the lands, waters, and climate that species need to survive. Mountain Rose supports The Center because they are the leading defender of imperiled wildlife and… because life is good.
Oregon Wild works to protect and restore Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife, and waters as an enduring legacy for all Oregonians. They are an educational, scientific, and charitable organization dependent upon private donations and citizen support. All of us here at Mountain Rose Herbs are sincerely grateful for Oregon Wild’s effort which makes this a truly awe-inspiring state in which to work, live, and adventure!
