I've been spending as much free time as possible working in the garden! While the weather is still a bit erratic here in the Pacific Northwest, I derive so much pleasure from digging, planting, weeding, and pruning, I just can't stay inside and now is definitely the time of year to savor every minute I can spend working away in my backyard haven.

As the weather warms, it can be lovely to have a tea recipe with a bit of pep, as well as one that will still taste delicious after traveling along on a hike or a picnic! This one is great for sipping hot, but it also goes well in one of our Tea-to-Go glass infusers. The best part is that it won't get bitter as it steeps, but instead will get somewhat sweeter! It is also yummy over ice...

Some Sundays are about resting up, recharging, and giving the system a chance to recover. When I'm feeling a little worn down and wanting to ward off any inkling of dis-ease for the coming week, this tea gives me a nice bit of recharge, as well as the yummy herbal flavors I crave... 

Many people think of rose buds as a decorative herb, but you can steep them as a tea and/or use within food. Be sure that yours are certified organic! They make a wonderful, sweet, and very aromatic addition to whatever tea blend you create!

This delicious tea recipe came to our Events Coordinator, Mason, in a dream! We wanted to call it Mason's Dream Tea, but that name implies a soothing sleepy tea and this blend will definitely stimulate the senses.

Ah...the seasons are changing! I just made my first batch of sun tea this past week and after several months of my cold-weather favorites, it is so lovely to sip on a light, berry-infused glass of tea. If you're lucky, you may even find a tiny mint leaf to drop into the brew...

Many people, when thinking about a "berry tea" would think about infusing dried berries (like dehydrated strawberries or dehydrated raspberries) in hot water. Although that is one way to go about it, there are herbal benefits when infusing the berry leaves ... such as raspberry leaf or strawberry leaf.
