Many of us here at Mountain Rose Herbs are big fans of frankincense and its fresh and grounding aroma. While most folks are familiar with the essential oil these days, there are actually a few different ways in which you can enjoy the wonderfully unique aroma of frankincense.

It's the time of year where pumpkin spice scents and flavors are popping up everywhere. Instead of reaching for a candle or room spray that's chock full of synthetic fragrances, try making your own diffuser blend with certified organic essential oils to bring those familiar pie-inspired smells into your space!

Amyris is a subtle beauty in the world of essential oils. Distilled from the wood of Amyris balsamifera, it imparts a lovely woody scent that may surprise you. It is commonly used as a fixative or base note in blends, and it is sometimes incorporated into sandalwood-like aromas.

Combava petitgrain is a bright and uplifting essential oil that is distilled from the leaves and twigs of the Makrut Lime citrus bush, Citrus hystrix. This organic essential oil is used in fragrances and natural body care products. The oil has a soft, thick, citrusy scent with dry, woodsy back notes. It has a strong, long-lasting aroma, reminiscent of lemongrass and petitgrain.

Lemon Eucalyptus is one of the many Eucalyptus species that has a prized essential oil. Its fresh scent is both uplifting and grounding and is sure to brighten your day! It's also found on the market as lemon-scented eucalyptus or lemon-scented gum oil.

Soft honeyed amber, light fruity florals, and spicy evergreen woods set the mood each morning before I adventured out into the world.
