 Written by [Our Products](https://blog.mountainroseherbs.com/author/our-products) | June 10, 2016

The sun is shining and the weather is sweet here in the Willamette Valley. Throughout the rainy season, we spent days dreaming up excursions to explore the coast, rivers, and mountains of Cascadia, and it is finally time to put these plans into motion!

Our new [Arnica & St. John’s oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/arnica-st-johns-herbal-oil/profile) is an excellent addition to our rucksacks, and the perfect topical application after a long day of exerting our bodies. [This concentrated herbal oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/arnica-st-johns-herbal-oil/profile) features certified organic [arnica flowers](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/arnica-flowers/profile), [St. John’s wort,](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/st-johns-wort/profile) and [calendula flowers](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/calendula-flowers/profile) lovingly infused into [organic olive oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/olive-oil-organic-extra-virgin/profile). With just the right amount of [organic Lavender essential oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/lavender-essential-oil/profile), this blend has a wonderfully calming aroma.

[This topical oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/arnica-st-johns-herbal-oil/profile) is concentrated, so a little goes a long way! We like to transform this [herbal oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/arnica-st-johns-herbal-oil/profile) into a lovely [massage oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/catalog/bath-body/massage-oils) by blending it with an equal part of [organic jojoba,](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/jojoba-oil/profile) [sweet almond](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/almond-sweet-oil-organic/profile), or [sunflower oil](https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/sunflower-oil/profile).
