Emma Christensen has more than fifteen years of experience creating food and cooking content for both web and print. She currently manages the home-cooking sites Simply Recipes and The Spruce Eats, and she is a former recipe editor for The Kitchn. Over the course of her career, she has worked as an editor, a writer, a recipe developer, a photographer, and video talent. Emma is the author of three books on homebrewing: True Brews, Brew Better Beer, and Modern Cider, and she collaborated on the James Beard Award-winning The Kitchn Cookbook. Her recipes and writing have been published in Simply Recipes, The Kitchn, Fine Cooking, America's Test Kitchen, Chicago Tribune, Brew Your Own, and elsewhere.
