When you think of autumn, what comes to mind? Is it the colorful masterpiece of the treescape, or the sound of crunching leaves? Possibly the taste of a pumpkin spice latte or warm mulled cider? For me, it’s the aromas whirling through the air that herald the coming of fall.
As indoor time increases, I begin to yearn for aromatherapy blends to bring in the elements of fall as I tackle projects like cleaning out my pantry or refreshing my spices in preparation for the holidays. Even more than candles and diffuser blends, though, I love to craft and use homemade wax melts. I am enchanted by the ambiance that my wax melter emanates, the gentleness of the aroma emitted, and the fun wax shapes and colors that I can pour.
Crafted with layers of aromas that many of us enjoy during the fall, this autumn breeze blend brings aromatic elements of the damp earth, fresh spices, and uplifting top notes to balance and brighten.

Pro tips:
- If wanted three colors, you can half the batch and make some red and some golden or orange. When you get halfway through both colors, add them together for a third color. The tri-color melts make an amazing gift!
- If you don’t have molds, you can pour wax drops on parchment paper and scoop some of the drops into your wax melter.
- After continued use, the aroma will begin to dissipate. When this happens, you can freshen it up with some new essential oils. Simply let the warmer do its magic in melting the solids and then add essential oils as desired.
- You can use the essential oils in this recipe as a delightful diffuser blend. Simply add the essential oils together in a separate bottle and follow the suggested amount that your diffuser calls for.
